Shipping and returns

DELIVERY TIMES

For destinations located in Portugal, orders are seated via CTT. Transforming the type of shipment selected during the ordering process, after leaving our store, it takes approximately 1 to 6 business days to reach a destination located in mainland Portugal, and 3 to 20 days to the Islands. If there is no one to receive the parcel, the postman will leave a notice in your mailbox to pick it up at your home's CTT post. If you are not available to receive your order, you have 15 days to express your interest in a new delivery attempt. After this period, Maximodelismo considers this act as a manifestation of willingness to terminate the contract, the order being canceled and returned to the warehouse.

Except for extraordinary entities, such as vacation periods or holidays, shipments of orders are made as soon as payment is confirmed. In the event that an order contains items with different shipping terms, and which differ by more than 15 working days, items in stock will be sent first, pending items will be sent as soon as available, with no further value to the user.

Shipments of orders are always conditioned by the availability of items (stocks in stock, both at Maximodelismo and at suppliers). See 'Availability information' below in this document. Thus, a period of 10 to 30 days is established for the effective delivery of the purchased item, a term that you receive as soon as Maximodelismo receives confirmation of payment of the order.

SHIPPING COSTS

To be exempt from the counter-refund shipping fee (€ 3.50), when placing the order you must choose to pay in advance through Paypal or bank transfer. To make this advance payment you must use the data provided to you during the ordering process.

Orders with a cash-back payment will be sent upon receipt of a deposit payment of a minimum amount of 10% of the total order, with a minimum of shipping costs plus the respective collection fee. The amount of the deposit paid initially will be discounted from the amount to be charged upon delivery. If the order is not collected, the amount paid as a deposit will not be refunded. If reshipment is requested, the value of previous shipments will not be refunded.

The total value of shipping and packaging costs is based on the size and weight of the items, being calculated automatically during the ordering process, according to the selected shipping method.

Each order finalized by the customer, will generate the respective shipment, so Maximodelismo cannot join several orders in a single shipment, thus, so that the user can reduce shipping costs, it is advisable to buy the items in a single order.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES (RMA):

In the event that the item you purchased is delivered exchanged, for a quick resolution of the problem, a return request (RMA) must be created, and as soon as RMA authorization is obtained, the original item must be sent. After our assessment, and if nothing exists to the contrary, a new article will be sent for proper replacement. In extraordinary circumstances, and always with the user's consent, Maximodelismo will be able to send a replacement item, of quality and characteristics equal to or superior to the returned item.

If items are returned, they must be sent to the address provided within 30 days from the date of receipt.

It is essential that the returned items, and their original packaging, are in new condition, accompanied by the respective purchase receipt or invoice.

Items that have been damaged due to misuse, neglect, negligence or that match the manufacturer's instructions will not be replaced.

RETURN FOR WARRANTY REPAIRS

In the event that any of our items proves to be defective, due to manufacturing problems, the user must activate the guarantee by creating a return request (RMA). As soon as RMA authorization is obtained, the original article and the respective proof of purchase must be sent to the address provided, so that it can be properly repaired under the terms of the warranty.

 CANCELLATIONS

In accordance with Decree-Law 143/2001 of 26 April (cf. amended by Decree-Law No. 82/2008, of 20 May), the User (natural person) can exercise his right to terminate the contract and consequently cancellation of an order within 14 days, from the date of receipt of the order, without payment of compensation and without the need to indicate the reason. To this end, the user must communicate his intention in writing, via email or letter, to Maximodelismo. The articles must be sent to the address provided within 30 days from the date of receipt.

Depending on the type of shipment chosen, a registration number may be provided to track the order.
